App store deep search

We comb release feeds across iOS and Android app stores in 14 regions. Most of what we find is forgettable. The 5% that isn't is what we cover.

02 โ€” Test

Hands-on play

Every candidate gets at least four hours of hands-on play before we decide whether to write about it. Most don't make the cut.

03 โ€” Verify

Cross-region check

We confirm titles are downloadable across European app stores. Regional exclusives we flag explicitly.

04 โ€” Publish

Weekly discoveries

Every Wednesday, we publish a curated set of three to five mobile games worth your attention. No filler. No paid placements.

About Game Discoverer

Game Discoverer is an independent editorial publication launching summer 2026. Our work is mobile game discovery โ€” finding the titles overlooked by the mainstream gaming press but loved by the players who happen to find them.

Our editorial focus: mobile games available across European and North American app stores. We don't review the obvious chart-toppers โ€” those get plenty of coverage. We focus on the games that deserve attention but aren't getting it.

Our methodology: we crawl app store release feeds across 14 regions, then test promising candidates for at least four hours each. Most never make our weekly discoveries. The ones that do, we recommend with conviction.

What we don't do: we don't accept payment, sponsorship, or affiliate commissions from game publishers. We don't run paid placements. We don't take press junket trips. Our editorial decisions are independent.
